Just watched some games in 1996, and the 3 points line is almost ncaa range.

It was a low skilled basketball era where the players needed shortened lines to make 3s.

The shortened 3 point line shrunk the court and reduced spacing, so scoring went down and it became the toughest era to score in 3-pointer history

That's the only reason these 2021 clippers are not the greatest three point shooting team in NBA history, they are 2nd to the 1996 Hornets with the short 3 point line. Back in 1996, people were not really expecting you too shoot 3 pointers though and the line was short. Goat Kawhi has his 2021 clippers team as the #2 best three point shooting team in NBA history with a longer 3 point line and much tougher defense while contesting on 3 point shooters.
