Chef Dingo. Larger than life.

Checks into the game with 7 mins left in the 4 quarter with Dubs trailing. Drops 20 like it’s no big deal.

The Closer.

ESPN before the Celtics and Sixers were trying to downplay his scoring because he was scoring vs weak teams during this historic run. 96 points in 2 games.

Continuing to prove that he is the third best player of the last decade behind KD and Lebron. Incredible.

I do remember when people used to say that. :oldlol: They said if he was on a crappy team as the only star offensive player he'd get locked up and minimized. lmao....

over the last 11 games, steph is averaging 40 points on 54% (50% from three). kinda hard to hate on that. :oldlol:

Doesn't he have a 77% TS in April so far? The big question is how long can this form last? Is it done, 1 game, 5? I can't imagine he can keep doing this until the end of the season. It's already one of the most impressive runs in NBA history. Gotta give some major props to Kerr adjusting and allowing Steph to go nuclear as well. :applause:

Not the hot 3PT streak but I don't see why he wouldn't average 32-35 ppg the rest of the way, especially with the easy schedule coming up with the vast majority of the games coming against mediocre defensive teams.

Take away today's 3-point format and Curry isn't even a basketball player anymore

He's mastered a technique (3-point shooting), not basketball

Curry isn't the goat jumpshooter either because despite his wonderful ability to pull-up via step-backs and similar more stationary live-dribble moves, these moves require more space - so he isn't the goat jumpshooter because he lacks great ability to pull-up off a hard dribble (shown here (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AJzbrBUFB4Y&t=10m26s) and here (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AJzbrBUFB4Y&t=11m00s)), which overcomes greater contests and requires elevating/shooting in a way that Curry and all of today's 3-point shooters lack great ability to do.

This is why Michael Jordan, the goat jumpshooter off a hard dribble of all-time (goat elevation, square-up and form), would be the goat 3-point shooter in today's game - he would be shooting contested pull-up threes off a hard dribble as a standard, just like he did 2-pointers, which would make him the standard of 3-point shooting - his "fadeaway" is already the standard of jumpshooting skill and he would do this from 3-point range in today's era

Can he do it from the logo? Can he sink 10 of them in a game more than once a year much less more than once a week?

Michael has his strengths. I suggest you stick to that. In Curry's realm, Michael is below league average.

This streak reminds me of something written in an article about Steph during the 2015-2016 season. It observed that at the rate Curry was making his shots, theoretically if he took all his team's shots he'd have the highest offensive rating in NBA history just by himself.

We are lucky to have a glimpse of what that might look like.

To me it's not just the average, but moreso the streak of scoring min 30PPG every single game and keeping up the 77% TS.

BINGO DINGO!

a very one dimensional technique as well. can't play defense or playmake at an elite level like a true superstar.

Well, the 30-pt streak obviously is very unlikely to continue because there will be a bad shooting night or 2 and blowouts. I believe Kobe had one or two 27-29-pt games in there where it could have been like 16 or 17 straight games of 30+ pts during his 10-game streak. Steph's obviously not going to keep making 50% of his 3s at 14 attempts a game like he has so far during this streak, but the scoring/efficiency shouldn't go down that much, given that he's going up to play so many mediocre defenses apart from like 2 teams.

the 3-pointer has been around since 1980. 40 years. imagine wanting it removed because of one player. :oldlol: curry got his haters squirming.
