And as for kids shoes.... if you're 10 years old right now, Kobe retired when you were 5. Ain't no kids be knowing who Kobe was. The only reason they might have heard of him is because they heard a guy named Kobe died in a helicopter crash. Then a few kids might have YouTube a couple of highlights. If Kobe stuff sold to kids it's because the dad is a fan buying it for his kids. Seriously... If a 12 year old was 7 when Kobe retired 5 years and 1 week ago today.... what supposed kids is Vanessa wanting to sell Kobe gear to?

I don't see any real chaos or drama. Nor a woman exploiting her deceased husband for profit. If anything, she turned down the millions and millions of dollars that Nike was willing to pay her. Maybe her reasons were not as altruistic as she claims, but that's still a buttload of money that she won't be getting. The Kobe line will probably go to some other shoe company, but for more money than Nike offered? Doubtful.
