Harden is garbage but they're probably just saving him for the playoffs and looking for excuses to sit him :confusedshrug:

It makes absolutely no sense. He's not going to magically be in game shape after missing at least 20 games. He's never been out of the game this long since he entered the league.

The Nets' title chances basically approaching zero at this point...

It's not like he's known for performing in the playoffs, so whether he's in shape or gasping for air, it shouldn't matter much.

Yea but his team is stacked. If they were healthy all he’d have to do is average like 20 points and he can do that

This. They're resting the crew. The season still has another month to go and 2nd round of the playoffs won't start for 6 weeks. He'll be back. The Lakers are doing the same thing.

They are saving Harden from himself. The man won't rest, he's the one out of the 3 that is willing to carry the team even if it breaks his back. He did it on Houston even when everyone was out. I doubt this is that serious and he'll be back a few weeks before playoffs.

In the past you were talking about them being the champions already because of how 'stacked' they are. Now go take a look on what's happening to them rn.

He probably comes back 2 weeks before PS to get in shape, same with KD. It is getting a bit late for them to build any chemistry to be honest, but they have far and away the best talent in the league.

that's unfortunate, Harden was the reason Nets turned the corner. from legitimate playoff team without media attention, to a legitimate playoff team with lots of media attention.

No chip this year

This is the bottom line.
He will not be back until the second round of the playoffs and the Big 3 will have spent but small parts of 7 games playing together all year.

yep, the Net's are Atlanta without Harden and Durant.
Atlanta is winning no championship.

Hardin will not likely be back in the regular season at all, KD will be back by the weekend, possibly tonight.

Why do you say this? We got a month of ball left, and they're specifically not giving an ETA for the injury. Maybe it's worse than it is, my guess is these dudes are all in to win a chip. They're treating the RS like the Warriors did on their last season with Kevin, a joke.

I think he will be back shortly before the PS begins.

Haven't Kyrie, Harden and Durant only played 7 games together?

My speculation but I think when Kawhi started load managing, a lot of veteran teams saw the benefit in milking their injuries.

I believe James Harden is getting much needed rest as he's always played high minutes and been available.

I also think Lebron is healthy and just milking his injury. Only person I really believed was hurt was AD.

technically, yes.

But even in those the Durant was being limited and was yanked from another due to Covid protocols.

Plus, it was months ago.

They will have no chemistry IF they are all present for the playoffs.

I have never know someone to come back from a hamstring in less than 6 weeks and Harden just reinjured his yesterday. Do the math.
When he first went out and they said 10 days I posted here, it would never happen. Hamstrings are just not like that.
From what I can gather the "set back" was worse the the original injury which would make sense.

BTW, I would be thrilled to be wrong about this, I have waited FOREVER to see these guys all getting 33 minutes a night at the same time, game after game.

The tank is very strong this mid season.

That being said, I hope fat Harden is out for a long time.

Harden was out of shape in the off season and that contributed to his hamstring giving out. He's also turning 32 this year so he's no longer a spring chicken.

Durant had his hamstring pulled and it took him 2 months to get back. Playoffs start in 30 days.

LeBron went to 8 straight finals without load managing tho :confusedshrug:

It's pretty sad when Kyrie is the healthiest of your big three. Obviously Harden and Durant need to play in order to make the finals run.
