3ball I seriously don't understand your obsession with calling Pippen trash and a Jr Smith type of player as that is utterly disrespectful to Pippen's greatness as a player and you should be ashamed of yourself for even saying such an insane statement such as that.

I have noticed that you seriously fail to understand that Pippen's elite defence all-round play and leadership along with being seriously underpaid from 1991 to 1998 is what the 1990's Bulls such an all time great team.

And you do know the more you trash on Pippen means that Jordan's 6 rings aren't that impressive as you hype them as.

Because what the hell does this say about the 1990s era?

If a Bulls team with a "jr smith" or "jeff green as their second-best player was winning 72 games and 69 games in back to back years"

What does it say for Malone and Stockton as players if they weren't able to beat a old one-man team with a Jr level sidekick in 1997 and 1998 despite having HCA one of those years?

3ball has been absolutely obliterated in every thread he makes or participates in, no matter how much cherry picking is happening. This is the reality most MJ stans face if confronted about their basketball knowledge.

CONCLUSION - Jordan had 6 rings that were far greater carry-jobs than 11' Dirk

Winning with a weak sidekick doesn't make the league weak because:

was the league weak when Dirk carried the Mavs to the 2011 title? Was the era weak?

The gap between Jordan and Pippen's stats for all 6 rings was far greater than the gap between Dirk and his sidekick in 2011 Playoffs (stats in previous post above), so Jordan had 6 carry-jobs that were greater than Dirk's 2011 ring.. And pippen's peak stats were LOW, so the gap was due to his weak production.

Furthermore, league expansion diluted the top-heavy, super-team 80's, so the talent was spread around evenly in the 90's (parity) - so only 2 stars were required to make the Finals and obviously, the goat + anyone will dominate a 2-star vs 2-star format..

If if we do a statistical breakdown of 85-87' Jordan vs 05-07' Lebron, we see that Jordan destroys Lebron, especially in the playoffs, but his team gets nowhere because he's carrying an accolade-less, 8 seed in a super-team conference, while Lebron has well-developed, high seeds in a 1-star team conference.

Carry on

Jordan was 1-9 without Pippen.
Pippen led his own team to 55 wins.
