https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiCa4sKM7-w 22 years old LeBron scoring 48 points. 25 straight points vs. Pistons. His 2nd scoring option was Daniel Gibson who's been out of the NBA since 2012". The Legend was born in this game". That Cavaliers team was horrendous they just over achieved in the regular season and playoffs".

this game is mentioned often with the ecf, elimination game vs 12 boston. and game 1 of the 18 finals. off the top these are his signature playoff performances, and its hard to pick which one was best. here it felt like his jumper was on point. and at the time was rare, because jumpers weren't really part of lebron's repertoire. amazing game though.

Those 3 and Games 5 & 6 in 2016 are imo the 5 best performances of his career

good point, but those are consecutive games and kind of a tandem. not one stands out over the other - both are synonymous imo.

Imagine if Larry Hughes was a decent 2nd scoring option. That Cavs teams would have been very dangerous.

Nothing will top game 6 Boston. Most legendary game ever.

ya larry hughes gave you an empty 14 a game lol. he was a net negative on offense AND defense. in 07 he posted -0.5 on offense and -0.7 on defense

not saying they win, but if you gave lebron a raja bell, or even lou williams, that finals would've been more competitive. cavs had no business being there though - which is a testimony to lebron's great play.

LeBron became the best player in the NBA on that night in 2007 and he's retained the title ever since.

GOAT

Look at how scared Tayshaun Prince was of LeBron in that game.

LeBron was 22 when this marvel on the court took place.
The same age rookie Chuck Person was, when he snagged the 7th seed in the east as the best player and leading scorer of the all-star-less 1986-87 Indiana Pacers.

What age was SGA when the All-Starless '19 Clippers snagged the 8th seed in the west?

At least the nba still plays some defense when he scored it.

The 07' Pistons were a garbage team - Lebron was lucky to face a team in the conference finals that MJ faced in the 1st or 2nd Round - based on all metrics, the 07' Pistons compare to the 90' Sixers or 89' Knicks, which MJ averaged 40-45 against..

And Iverson had a two 50-point games in the ECF to make the 01' Finals... Ultimately, Lebron only needed 25 on 45% in the 07' East or 07' ECF, which would be the worst series of MJ's career - so Lebron was just lucky to face a team in the ECF that was worse than the 90' Sixers

Furthermore, MJ upset the #! SRS Cavs in 1989, which dwarfs Lebron's upset of the 07' Pistons.. MJ had the #10 SRS squad and beat the #1 SRS, while Lebron's "upset" was the top 2 seeds in the conference going at it.. It was a 50-win 2 seed vs 53-win 1 seed (#7 SRS vs #6 SRS)... that's hardly an upset and doesn't compare to MJ's upsets in the 89' Playoffs (1st of 2nd Round), or his near-upset of the 86' Celtics in Game 2, or his near-upset of the 90' Pistons, or his carry-job in 93', 97' or 98' Finals

https://youtu.be/nVDCK0u63uY?si=rKVRqvtY7ALNA4A7 LeThrowback. Lebron 32 points 12 rebounds, 5 assists vs the 2006 Pistons which still had Ben Wallace. Cavs beat the Pistons. 92-89 forcing a game 7. Say what??
