The hard to quantify loss of basketball IQ that comes from telling an entire generation to focus on threes. Shot selection continues to atrophy. Things like this...or the 3 Nuggets running to the 3 point line on a 4 on 1 break down 2.

The analyst approach is downright making players stupid. They don’t even hear the “3s and layups” part anymore at times. Rather take a pull-up three than attack. The 3 is always there and always easy to get make or miss.

The rest of the game takes effort to create. Let people take brain dead shots guess what? They think it’s ok.

The balance is totally lost on some of these dudes because of an exceptional 4-5 people who specialize in idiotic shots.
