And what a beautiful world it is indeed. Just like darkness defines light, and hate defines love...pain defines pleasures. Without the yang to the yin life becomes meaningless, predictable and boring. Why does the water taste so good after you've physically pushed yourself so far? Why does love of a romantic partner feel so joyful when you were alone for so long? These things have to challenge each other. Otherwise they are nothing without one another.
