If LeBron James Wins 4 Championships He Will Be 6th-Best All-Time

1. Michael Jordan

2. Magic Johnson

3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

4. Wilt Chamberlain

5. Bill Russell

6. LeBron James

Explanation

The most difficult opposition LeBron faces in his path to greatness will be Kobe Bryant and Larry Bird. Kobe and LeBron would have both practically played in the same era which would lead to tighter comparisons. He can pass Kobe with four championships though. Kobe is not half the facilitator that LeBron is. So in the end, LeBron will pass Kobe if he wins four championships.

LeBron will also have trouble passing Larry Bird. Bird was such a great shooter that critics will try to one-up LeBron with that. Even Bird can't hold off a LeBron with four championships.

The best an obsessive LeBron hater like OP can do is rank him 6th all time lol. Is that supposed to be an insult lol. Being the 6th greatest player ever is incredible.

Honestly I've never seen 3 of those guys play so hard to say bron or mj is goats over them. I personally think mj is best player I've ever seen play but when it comes to the mount Rushmore of player you can probably make a case for anyone.

Don't agree with the ranking, but it's not absurd.

check out this amazing logic.

If LeBron James Wins 6 Championships He Will Be the 2nd-Best All-Time.

Explanation

It will be difficult to rank a LeBron with six championships. He would have tied Jordan but probably cannot reach him.

LeBron will also be so close to Magic in championships that a true argument of LeBron as the G.O.A.T. cannot begin at six championships. Critics will also try to compare LeBron closer to Magic than Jordan through the style that LeBron plays.

One more ring and he gets into my top 30 which to be frank is an astonishing achievement for someone with a brand of basketball that isn't conducive to maximising the talent of teammates. Obviously one of the greatest athletes that ever lived which is why he was able to overcome his Walmart brand of Magic Johnson.

Dude said Kobe isn't half the facilitator lebron is. These dudes really believed in those westbrook/doncic stats? Watching isn't important anymore? No Kobe played in a system as a SG. He had no weaknesses and had nothing to hide unlike lebron.

LeBron's 2018 production. One single playoff season was better than ALL of Kobe's best playoffs from any year of his career, combined

Kobe's stats were more impressive considering the triangle, his position, his competition and the fact he had no weaknesses. If kobe wanted to average close to a triple double playing 17 years in kobe system, he would've, everybody knows. But why?

Lebron's greatness mainly comes from a stat sheet, playing that lazy bron ball because he doesn't have the mindset or skills to adjust, always hiding and padding stats, he loves the fact people see him as a pass first player too, so he doesn't have that scoring responsibility where he has to pull up anytime he gets an inch of space by his defenders exposing his natural fg%, creates superteams for a reason. Physical beast tho.

Hilarious. Good laughs.

Clearly that person was wrong in 2011. And they could not have foreseen what LeBron did in 2016, which is essentially the same thing as winning multiple titles in one go.

Today LeBron is universally considered either the GOAT or the 2nd GOAT.

Bron should be no worse than 10th on anyone's list. Haters included. Only players that i could see someone having ahead of him are mj, kareem, russell, magic and kobe. Wilt, bird, shaq and duncan could have a case also but it's a harder one to make. I would think most non haters would have bron ranked somewhere in between 1-5. This goes the same for mj. I wouldn't even argue russell or kareem. Bron and magic i'd argue but wouldn't think it was crazy.

KirbyPls
04-27-2021, 12:01 PM
I think the most objective perspective would have Lebron no worse than 3-4. Only MJ and Kareem have realistic cases at this point.

Ainosterhaspie
04-27-2021, 12:27 PM
MJ, Kareem, Russell have obvious cases over LeBron.

Magic, Duncan, Kobe have simplistic RINGZZZZ case over LeBron and Shaq being tied with LeBron could maybe be ranked over him too.

Wilt has a case with heavy stats emphasis.

Bird and Hakeem maybe have some rationale over LeBron.

That's it. If you have more than these guys over him, you don't have any sort of rationale method of ranking players and even putting all those guys over LeBron requires shifting criteria from one player to the next to shoehorn guys in over him.

Are you a pure ringz guy? Max 7 guys over LeBron. Are you a longevity guy. Only Kareem is over LeBron. Are you a stats guy? Wilt, MJ, maybe Kareem have cases there. You have to pick and choose who to apply standards to to put 10 guys over LeBron because he's top ten in any criteria you can come up with.
