Yes there are deaths, business closure, etc. But there are advantages too like less traffic, less pollution, people caring more about health, working from home, etc.
2020 was personally one of the most enjoyable year for me. Am bummed that the pandemic seems to be ending.

Nope not me I lost some friends due to depression, missed going to concerts, clubs, traveling the country/world etc. It does/did have it's benefits but long term it was awful. Humans in general are social creatures and not meant to be locked inside alone. The mental aspect of this pandemic will/has caused long term damage that'll we'll feel for years.

A lot of the changes were necessary in the long term, and are things Ive personally advocated for years. More work from home business models, quarantining third world countries to push down birth rates etc.
As usual, the generic herd wasnt tryin to listen to no “ideas,” they wanted to watch Jersey Shores or Adventures of Transformers or whatever the ****. Most folks only respond to anything when prodded with fear and emotion. Thats the public for ya.
So in that sense I can appreciate why people guiding our global future orchestrated the whole thing.
Still kinda jarring to see how many people bought into the hysteria whole hog. Ofc I know that’s exactly what the public does, but it still always sort of shocks me to see it happen on big scales.

It’s been enjoyable, less noise, more meditation, finally reading books i’ve been wanting to read for a long time. Still, I can see how it’s been bad for the plebs.

For me not more enjoyable but it did open my eyes about working from home. I didn't think i would be very effective but it has worked out well.
I am a golfer and golf is one of the few activities that have been relatively unaffected. Courses were closed for awhile last spring but have been opened ever since.
Nice not having to deal with rush hour traffic.
To me there are too many negatives though. Be glad when this crap is over.

I can say is what it had done is bring my family and I closer together. When you're forced to spend more time it tests resiliency.
The negative is it brought me here more frequently due to boredom

Can't argue with that.
I do feel bad for poor people though. Seems like they suffer the most.
Traffic is back to what it was. That was the only good thing.

Gave me a lot of time to start lifting and do some self reflection that ultimately made me a much better, more productive person.

Pros - lots of free money , virtual concerts
Cons - No real concerts, limited food hours, lots of theme parks and bars closed, yearly events discontinued forever, construction projects staled, small businesses got fkd up
And a very very shitty allstar weekend

I cant even remember the last time I sat down and watch a good new release film. Tenet was the only one seems like in 2-3 years
Were going to feel that for another couple years with how long the film industry was put on hold.
