He can't win with high scoring because high scoring from Lebron = overdribbling, which gets beat by ball movement and jumpshooting.. So it's a moot point - he can't win with high scoring and would therefore fail trying to score a lot on Jordan.

Otoh, Jordan could win with high scoring because he was an elite jumpshooter, so high scoring from Jordan still involved ball movement and a high level of team play/team offense..

Ultimately, Jordan had four #1 offenses with trash offensive help because his offensive style (jumpshooting) allowed the best brand of basketball (ball movement).. Otoh, Lebron's 2 point guard lineups and skill restriction to ball-dominance results in less ball movement and zero #1 offenses in 2 decades, despite the best offensive help, maybe ever

One player we still have YET to see in the NBA is a MJ-Nique freak athletic level athlete with the shooting ability of a Klay Thompson-Ray Allen-Reggie Miller type. OR if you want to equate it to PF's, we have yet to see a Zion-Kemp level athlete have the shooting ability of a Dirk. KD and Ray Allen are the BEST BLENDS or great pure shooting AND athletic ability we've seen. NEITHER ONE I would consider a true freak athlete level player though.

When I think pure shooting, I'm thinking 50-40-90 type guys or close. Who are also very good to great scoring the rock. So the player who can combine freak athletic ability AND the great pure shooting I described will be awesome to see!

None of the TRUE signature freak athletes who were also very good to great scorers are great pure shooters. I'm talking everybody from Dr. J, MJ, Drexler, Nique, Vince, Bron ,Kobe, Wade, Kemp, T Mac, Amare, Zion, Giannis, etc.

I'd say bron is now. His 3 is elite and his mid has come a long way. His ft isn't amazing but it's not horrible. Its only 10% behind mj which in the grand scheme of things isn't that big of a deal. On 10 attempted ft it's literally a 1 point difference.

Not that you're actually interested in a real answer, but Vince Carter is 6th all time in 3pt field goals made and had several high volume seasons over 40%. Had a few mid 80s FT% years too.
