They should want the #1 seed. It's the difference between playing Hornets/Knicks in the first two rounds vs. playing the much more dangerous Heat/Bucks. Being the #2 seed is so much worse than being the #1 seed.

Nets playing very sluggish against the Blazers. Every time we have a chance to take the lead we take a dumb shot. Thank goodness I don't have to watch Irving be the sole option every night because it's not fun watching him go 7-21 with just 2 assists. Hopefully the Nets win because they would be doing themselves a disservice with back-to-back games against the Bucks..

Its less about the 1R because Knicks or Hawks could easily drop to 7-8 or you could play Wizards as #1 seed, its ALL about the 2R however.

As 2nd seed you play a heavyweight, as 1st seed you have an easy task ahead of you.
