Was it 1988 as he won almost every individual award that season

Or was it 1990

Or was it 1991

Or even 1993 when he had his greatest finals performance out of all of his 6 finals appearances throughout his career

1991 was his highest peak if I had to choose one. But there is hardly any drop off from the 1986 playoffs to the 1993 playoffs.

88.

In respect to that year, he was really like top 5 DTRG? And he just crazy motor defensively from the games that I seen. Off the ball, on the ball, offensively, I never seen anyone doing it for that long stretch.

He was smarter and more patient probably in the early 90s tho.

I do need to watch more in 1990 to refresh. That also might be his best year.

92. still had the athleticism of previous years and was arguably as dominant as 91. possibly more throughout the postseason, but that wont show in stats because chicago played better teams. jordan was a proven champ in 92 and still had absurd athletic ability. it was gradual, but in 93 he declined a bit in athleticism. could have been fatigue from the olympics, but that was the first year i noticed jordan moving slower.,

I would say it's between three seasons: 1991, 1993, 1996.

1991 and 1996: very similar as Jordan was pissed off these years and came back with vengeance

1993: just embarrassed Barkley in the finals. He didn't respect Barkley and made a fool out of him. Also Pippen struggled in the playoffs that year.

91-93 and 96 MIKE. Years of Diamonds and Golden Nuggets for the Bulls fans and their eyes.

I remember well the 96 Bulls and their Defense was something out of this world, especially at home games during the playoffs. Poor Magic, Poor Supersonics and others who got anihilated ...

So, I will agree with Jordan himself, 96 Bulls and Jordan all the way, he also had the experience of many championships before that made him an even more powerful and cold KILLER than ever. The man was everything on the court, From point guard to Forward, an absolute incredible defender, a coach, the DEVIL to other teams and teammates who didn't listen to him, the best trash talker ever, The best offense player I have ever seen, a 4th quarter game winner assassin, unbelievable free throw shooter, etc.. and etc... what else to say ??? lol

91 is what MJ said his peak was too.

Tho I feel like it could be anywhere between 88-91.

Personally think it could between 88 or 90. But I think you would have to pick and choose.

In 88 MJ was a complete monster. I mean he was the boogeyman at night that no other team wanted to face. Never seen anything like it. Imagine Kobe's 06' scoring stretches but with equal terror he exerted on the defensive end too.

MJ in 91' was complete but his Finals performance was what really makes it close to me. He played on a level on all facets of his game that we rarely see. Crazy thing was that no one talks about him averaging almost 13 assists a game during the Finals.
