What worries me is his shooting across the board has been been getting worse across the board FT%, 3p%, 2p% .He has more confidence but he hasn't put in the work on his shot. Luka and Trae were probably more skilled distributors in their rookie years than Ja will ever be in his career even if his assist numbers are bigger. Those type of instincts can't be taught. Ja's game relies so heavily on athletiscm and speed. If he stays healthy like Westbrook most of his career, he'll make a name for himself in the NBA history books but I'm not convinced his game translates into championship basketball with him as the primary option. If he gets hurt, we may have a glorified John Wall on our hands. He doesn't have the length and/or skill of elite tier players.

You are probably right only because the Pelicans are not much better and have a tougher schedule but neither team is playing good basketball right now.
