This dude switches teams every 4 years and brings multiple hall of famers with him each time and is increasingly shocked that he should be expected to compete before the second round of the playoffs. Like it's for the rank and file to play regular season basketball.

Lakers were a 10 seed Lebron's first season in LA, and I remember being bummed they weren't able to compete for a playoff spot. The West was stacked that year and Bron had gotten hurt. 8 seed had 48 wins that year, but I think the Lakers would've given them a run for their money. That year they were a playoff-caliber team, when healthy. Instead they basically threw the season away. That wasn't good for the league.

The play in is a good idea. If you can't even finish top 6 in your conference, you have no right to anything. If it were baseball you'd just be out.
