He threw an alley oop to Beal from the opposing foul line.

Westbrook mad that Luka stole his thunder the other night with a 20 assist triple double.

He's got 16 boards and 19 assists with 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

This is one of the greatest playmaking displays I have ever seen. Russ is getting anywhere he wants on the court and has everybody on a string. This is amazing. It feels like half the Wizards points have been dunks Russ is getting for guys.

Westbrook has now surpassed Wilt in 20 rebound / 20 assist games.

It's impressive, but at the same time this game was 154-141...and honestly "stats" in games like this don't matter much to me. Clearly LESS than zero defense being played.

I really miss the 2006-2016 Era of NBA.

There's been several games in the last couple weeks where a team went for 150+ in regulation. This is truly feeling like the 60s, just with more efficiency and less possessions.

Wizards have won 13 of their last 16 but I know you won't let facts get in the way of your stupidity.

Watching some of these games it’s crazy how fast he turns defense to offense when he grabs a rebound. He’s got guys taking off on full sprints when they see it in his hands and he’s gunning that ball 85 feet down the court at times. It’s similar to how everyone on the Lakers would run hard when they saw Magic come down with one or Bird late in his career when he was an outlet specialist getting it to the young guys.

People always yelling stat padding but the way his teammates explode the other way and he finds them I’m not sure a fair person could find legit criticism. I’d love to see numbers on their possessions that begin with a Westbrook rebound.

He is pushing the tempo like few I can remember and his teammates seem really into it. Multiple times you see the shot clock still at 22+ seconds and the pass already in the air he gets the assist from. He is doing some special shit out there at times.

Wizards have the fastest pace in the league. Russ is surely the reason why. The effort level has picked up a lot lately and i have to give him some credit for that. His energy level rubs off.

It came out recently that he was playing with a torn quad earlier in the season.

In games since Westbrook recovered from injury (Feb 10 till present) the Wizards have a 24-20 record. If we count only games in which Beal played as well the Wizards are 23-13 which is 53-win pace over half a season's worth of games which is a decent-ish sample size. They look like a pretty scary team to face in the 1st round. I'm trying to imagine how motivated Westbrook would be if they face the Nets! He'll actually play as good as Oscar in that series... :lol
