What do you think the NBA would say in regards to pausing gameplay to allow NBA players to part take in their religious duties? Certain religions require prayer at specific times of the day. Would the NBA say NO, the team must be penalized with a time out so the player can do his/her/its thing on the sideline?

Just wondering what your thoughts are

If Chinese were religious then yes they would. If Islamic nations spent billions on the NBA instead of trying to kill everyone then yes they would.

The league would weigh ratings and PR stuff and then do whatever is in its own interest, while framing it in a woke context.

But it’s unlikely to matter. Players themselves arent putting religion above their livelyhood. They just mix in the religious stuff around it where possible. Guys pulling a Sandy Koufax is pretty rare.

takes like Max 2-3 minutes for muslims to pray. The team can just take a timeout and player can pray when he's on the bench
