Kareem would now be 4 out of 10 in the finals

Shaq would now be 2 out of 6 in the finals

Kobe would now be 2 out of 7 in the finals

Magic would now be 4 out of 9 in the finals.

Bird would now be 2 out of 5 in the finals

Wilt would now be 4 out of 6 in the finals

West would now be 8 out of 9 in the finals

Baylor would be now 8 and 0 in the finals.

Tim would be now 1 out of 6 in the finals.

Oscar would be now 0 out of 1 in the finals.

Karl Malone would be now 3 out of 0 In the finals

John Stockton would be now 2 out of 0 in the finals.

If that was the case how would your present-day top ten list change from where it is now?

Jerry West would be the GOAT

Maybe or Baylor but I do personally think most people would give the goat title to Lebron or Wilt in this timeline.

In order for the outcome to be different, teams / players must have played different.

So whats the context to the result change?

One thing is for sure and that is people wouldn't ask why Jerry West is the logo if he had 8 rings to his name.

Lebron would be unanimous GOAT for a long long time. He won as a 22 years old in 2007 with Drew Gooden as his second option. And in this scenario the 2016 73-win Warriors team won the title then added Durant. Then Lebron beat that team twice in 2017 and 2018. There would be no more argument who's the GOAT.

I dont think it changes anything, honestly.

Lebron would still be GOAT. MJ’s losses probably wouldnt be held that much against him, he’d still be borderline top 5 and so on.

Baylor would be the GOAT - 8 and 0
Russell would be looked at as Baylor possibly. 1-10.
