Think about how amazing of a player westbrook must be to do this....yet during his whole career, not even for a single nanosecond has anyone on the planet considered him better than lebron james...Give LeBron his flowers while he is still here..This man is the greatest player of your lifetime...Let him know that.Give LeBron his flowers before its too late

And yet Westbrook would still struggle to break the top 10 PG's of all time list for many people.

Great stats with little winning impact... I respect the hell out of the man's effort and pure athletic ability but even in his 30's he still plays out of control most of the time.

They got a rebound with 6 seconds left and had to rush. He was forced into a very difficult shot.

I think he had 13 and 9 in the 4th. Completely brought them back from down almost 20

He should follow suit, join a super team, win 2/3 chips and jumps automatically to the top 3 goat conversations since points, rebounds and assists is the key metric

And he had like 30/20/15 with game winning fts and the game sealing blocked buzzer beater like 2 days ago.

Yep, like joining the Rockets last year. Oh wait.

Imagine it. Harden. Westbrook. PJ Tucker. Eric Gordon. Robert Covington.

Who could be that team?

On 28/13/21. Wizards scored 45 in the 4th and almost came back down 18 with no Beal.

5 years ago no one thought this record, and beating Oscar' 41 in. Season and avg a triple double was a season was even possible.
Yet, he's goin on his 5th season avg one.

I wonder the amount of assist and rebounds he'd have to get to avg a triple double for his career?

This should be a bigger deal than it is. I had no idea he was chasing that record this season. I think it’s because sports media barrages us with trivial records everyday to hype players (eg ‘zion becomes first 20 year old to score 30 points with at least 12 rebounds and 51% fg on a Saturday afternoon’) that it waters down actual records that matter.

He played well. Hard to beat a good team without Beal but they almost pulled it off.

He just won player of the week averaging 22/17/18.

I definitely have a more positive view of him now that I see him night in night out. Yes he takes some bad shots and has some wtf turnovers but his relentlessness has really rubbed off on the team. Nobody outworks the wizards now and that certainly hasn't been the norm for this team over the past 20 years.

If left it would be too soon. What a greater player Westbrook is for it. I'm not surprised OP likes it.:violin:
see even LeBron amazed:lebronamazed:

Too many. His first 8 years in the league he came nowhere near averaging a triple double so his averages suffered big time. Luka is close to doing it but even he has a long way to go.

At least he has something in his sleeve.
