Is it me, or is the Hall of Fame a joke? Some of these artists have been retired for so many years or are dead, and they are just now deciding if they should be in the Hall of Fame??

LMAO at being more significant. Maiden's sold over 100 million albums worldwide with barely any mainstream radio play. At least not in the U.S

Foo fighters are more popular cause they care about getting radio play. Grohl has shown there isn't a camera he doesn't love. He's a huge attention whore.

No chance that either were a bigger influence, more successful or have the longevity in music than Maiden. That's what the HOF should be all about.

There are many artists being inducted after many years in finalists. It took Kraftwerk, one of the most influential electronic music acts, 6 years to be inducted this year.

I agree but he isn't a rock musician. I'm slamming more the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame than LL Cool J, it's a joke. They should be name the Popular Music Hall of Fame then since a shit ton of their inductees are nowhere near being rock artists.
