He keeps relying on the triple threat, jab steps, iso and midrange contested shots. Hes in for a rude awakening if he thinks he can sustain it. Hes just not that good.

He's better than that loser. Knicks are winning with him

Knicks won 54 games and were 2nd in the East with Melo carrying the offense and winning the scoring title, JR was his 2nd option lol. Not his fault that Amare broke down.

Randle is not the best at getting to the rim/FT line, and I believe the Knicks are worst in the league at FG% at the rim or in the paint, so he forces some bad shots, but I guess he's been clutch all year.

Weak East, remember? Or does that argument only count when LeBron is in reference? Same applies to the J.R. Smith argument. With Carmelo it's ''lol'', with LeBron it'd probably be ''stacked''.

Yes, but he had them at 54 wins. It's not like he got them to .500 and didn't win a Playoff series. They lost a close series against Indiana. The East was weak, but that doesn't mean I can't give credit to Melo.

It's not like this season has been the toughest in league history either, stars have been in & out of line-ups all year due to the short off-season & COVID protocol, surely the Knicks have benefited some from that because they've been healthier than most teams and had more time off and they have went all out in every game.

The Heat ended Linsanity. Lin had a hot streak, but guys around the league knew he wasn't going to be anything other than a bench guy.

Carmelo put a stop to it. Didn't like someone else in the spotlite. Would rather lose games. What a loser!

Long-term/Playoffs, they were going to have more success with Lin in a smaller role. Melo was a much better player. You'd honestly tell me that prime/peak Melo should have taken a back seat to a role player? Knicks couldn't afford to match what the Rockets/Morey were willing to pay for him anyways, he got a massive payday just for playing well for a 10-game stretch, and it didn't work out at all in Houston/LA, he was decent but nowhere near Linsanity levels, and was terrible for the Rockets in the Playoffs. In hindsight, the Knicks saved a lot of money by not overpaying for him.

They were winning. Don't rock the boat. He didn't play for D;Antoni at those other stops

Melo had a quick first step that got him ahead of his defender. Randle keeps running into the body because hes not quick but also because he doesn't have much of a timing sense. But you gotta appreciate his confidence, hes really got a high opinion of his ability.

That’s why yo franchise can’t win anything. You judge players too harshly. You’re like that stuck up chick at school that trashes decent nikkas but is ugly as hell.

I judge players on rather I like them or not. Carmelo is one of the most overrated ever. Another in a long line of high scoring small forwards. Not one of the best players in the game
