So why shouldn't I think the 10' Cavs had an equal or better cast than the 1st three-peat Bulls?

Those Cavs also had better rebounding, so they had superior rebounding, defenses and scoring help than the 1st three-peat Bulls.

Accordingly, they were the league favorite in 09' and 10' before winning any titles, while the weaker defense/rebounding/scoring of the 91' Bulls weren't favored and needed to win the title before becoming the league favorite... Facts gonna facts

Why exactly does 13-14 ppg make Mo and Jamison “scorers”, but not Horace Grant?

And which of Mo or Jamison is anywhere near Pippen as a scorer lmao?

Maybe not Mo, but Jamison was putting up 20 ppg on Playoff teams, he averaged 32/10 against Lebron in 2007 Playoffs, and it wasn't a one game fluke type of a deal, he matched or outscored Lebron in every one of those games.

Grant was a rebounder, not a scorer - his number was never called

Otoh, Mo and Jamison were scorers that averaged 16 ppg alongside Lebron in 2010 (Jamison was averaging 21/9 before joining the Cavs midseason).

This easily compares to Pippen.. Jamison was actually a better scorer than Pippen, while Mo was about equal but provided better spacing - Mo led the league in 3-point makes per game in 2009 and was a 2nd playmaker, which improved the Cavs from 45 to 66 wins.

* Mo averaged 18 on 38%, yet the Cavs lost to the #4 SRS Magic as the league favorite and 1 seed

* Pippen averaged 15 on 40%, yet the Bulls beat the #1 SRS Cavs as a massive underdog and 6 seed

So stop ignoring the facts.. the 09' Cavs also had the #3 defense (#11 for the 89' Bulls)

Lebron never beat a top 5 SRS team with weak scoring and efficiency from a sidekick, so he has zero carry-jobs against good teams in 2 decades of playing.. He can't have carry-jobs against good teams because he's poor at the contested jumpshooting required of tough carry-jobs (he actually avoids contested jumpers).

Btw, the 09' Cavs had the #3 defense, while the only roster addition (Mo) had higher BPM, VORP, PER, and WS/48 than 90' Pippen - that's why the Cavs turned from 45-win bums to 66-win league favorites when Mo arrived
