View Full Version : Is it just me or does Biden seem more confident than Trump?

Biden seems like he's comfortable and in charge. When Trump was in office, he was constantly complaining on Twitter. He was always calling out the media. ''Fake News.'' But Biden seems more humble. I just get the feeling of comfort when he talks. Trump was always yelling at the camera. Biden just winks and smiles. It seems like he secretly knows what he's doing.

joe biden isn't "in charge". big money is in charge. big money is always in charge.
joe biden isn't even in charge of his own party. you may as well call west virginian senator joe manchin "president manchin". he's been running roughshod over biden's agenda ever since he took office. he's the ONLY democrat in the senate aside from kirsten sinema that has single handedly opposed, or demanded that joe biden tune his agenda towards a more right-wing approach. if biden knew how to play any brand of politics the way trump did, he would threaten to ruin manchin's career if he didn't get on board with his agenda (campaign against him, primary him, cut off any democratic campaign funds, cut west virginia out of any provisions in whatever major bill may be next, etc.) and joe does indeed have the clout to do that right now, but he's weak not only politically, but mentally as well... not to mention physically. he's a cuck. mcconnell mitch said straight up the other week that he's 100% committed to blocking the biden agenda. yet... biden STILL wants to take a 'unity' approach.
just look at the way trump flexes his power... out of office, lol. the guy's got the entire gop leadership running around in circles to oust liz cheney because she won't get on board with election fraud. say what you will about his ego and big mouth, but at least he knows how to play the game.

Where exactly did that get Trump? He lost the house in 2018 in a blue wave and lost the senate+White house in 2020. Lost it all and now sitting at home raging and ranting every chance he gets about the election fraud, which he has no evidence of. His own elected judges laughed him out for lack of evidence along with the Supreme Court.

He also made the GOP lose control of the senate by making the Runoffs about him instead of the two candidates :lol

i probably should have made my point without mentioning trump because that seems to trigger feelings here. my point is that if joe biden doesn't put joe manchin, kirsten sinema, or any other egotistical democrat that's looking for some media attention in check, then his 'fdr' agenda is basically over with. republicans have already made it crystal clear that they're blocking him from every angle for the next four years. in addition to that, manchin has made it clear that he's not getting on board with any major bills without republican votes. he's getting zero votes from them. if he can't get his super slim democratic majority in check to pass bills through thhe reconciliation process, then his presidency is basically over. not to mention senate dems are old and any one of them could croak any day now and he'd lose than slim majority.
have you read about how manchin is publicly siding with the gop's infrastructure plan over his own president's? that's pretty cuck if ya ask me. this country needs more than the gop's proposed half a trillion in infrastructure spending to make any kind of significant impact with the current state of how crumbling and outdated it is. we'll see though, maybe biden will surprise everyone, but i'm not optimistic.

How will Biden lashing out and trashing the very Democrat ms he needs help with the voters? Trump used to trash and threaten any republican who didn't agree with him every word and that got him nowhere with the voters. Republicans are left holding the bag in both executive branch and legislative branch due to that very behavior. Now you want Biden to do the same that sent Trump to the sidewalk?
If Biden wants to get to them, the better way is to take them aside privately and try to get them on board. You can often get more done in politics, especially with members of your own party, with honey than feces slinging.

What you're viewing as confident is a lack of self awareness. Everyone here is attracted to women, with the exception of a few. And I assume that all of us here have enough self awareness to not move in for the kiss with a woman that we just met a few seconds ago. It's not because we lack confidence, it's because we have enough awareness of the social norms, as well as the feelings of others, not to do it.
Biden, not only does he not have the self awareness not to move in for the kiss with a person that he just met a few seconds earlier, but he also doesn't have enough self awareness to realize, to consider that other people are just going to find his attraction to kids disgusting and repulsive.
That's not confidence. That's a lack of self awareness.

I read something yesterday about how the White House Press Corps is expecting Biden to step down. It's now not a question of if, but when. So someone from Biden's staff has leaked to them that Biden is stepping down at some point prior to 2024.

i went over this in my first post, doo-doo head. biden could simply pick up the phone and tell manchin " i can either be your best friend, or your worst enemy. i can either ensure your reelection, or hit the stump in wv and ruin you. get on board with my bill, or you're finished ". biden's a popular president right now... he has the power to do that. read my posts, i think i was pretty clear about where things stand right now.

I read your post, and I know exactly what you said.
I'm telling you a different approach because the approach you are talking about didn't work last 4yrs. There are other ways to get things done than threatening and publicly humiliating your own party members. Take them aside, talk to them privately and negotiate in that way first. If nothing works over 6-12 months since entering office to change their position, only then do you take it up a notch. You have to try diplomacy first & give it some time before you bring out the big guns.

Adderall makes a person post more? If so, I don't want it.
I'm not really back. I just stopped posting for a couple of reasons.
1. I just felt it was a waste of time. Someone mentioned that there used to be a lot of passionate Orange Man Bad posters, and that the vast majority of them left due to the embarrassment over the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax. They all headed for the hills, and I applaud them for that. That is a proper human reaction. The only thing better would be to admit that they were wrong. And so those people headed for the hills, which actually shows them to be reasonable people, and what you're left is the opposite. So after realizing that, it was like, "This is my audience?" It's like a waste of time, because they rather die than to admit that they were wrong.
Random example. I'm sure he's a nice guy, TheMen, not trying to knock him. The guy is constantly getting made fun of for jacking off to his cousin or something, and year after year he refuses to change his avatar of a picture of her. No matter what he's not going to admit defeat. No matter how wrong he is, or no matter how many wanting to bang his cousin jokes people make.
For the record, I never attack him for that. That's his personal matter.
2. Every few weeks I would check out what's new on ISH, and I wasn't seeing any posts, topics from top quality posters such as Walk on Water and FultzNationRize. It just wasn't the same. They simply were nowhere to be found and I thought it was the end of an era. I probably would have left right away and not posted anything if it were not for seeing a few Walk on Water threads. He has a way of really making you think.

They can get away with it because they have a monopoly on racism and social justice. All they have to do to protect themselves and the evil deeds they do is to accuse their opposition of the same things they do. Accuse them of horrible things and the people will believe them. That way, and with help from the media, the spotlight gets shined on Conservatives, while Liberals scurry in the dark like rats doing anything they want.
Conservative politicians are too proud and prideful. They lack a backbone. What they should do is do the same exact thing Liberals do to them. Just go on a full on crusade of accusing every Liberal as a racist. Accuse the news organizations of perpetuating racism by having these Liberals on their network 24/7. Use that racist word so much that it basically cheapens its meaning even further, to the point where people will be desensitized to it, thus leaving it useless for the Democrats to use. Conservatives need to play dirty. It's the only way they can dominate these Liberals.
