When a player doesn't win early in their career, a lot of the time they develop a narrative of being unclutch. In LeBron's case he followed up 7 ringless seasons in Cleveland with the GOAT choke in 2011, so that only amplified that narrative even more.

He's still too passive in late game scenarios for my liking, but 4 titles/FMVP's, GOAT level playoff production, GOAT elimination game performer, countless iconic games, most playoff GW's; the haters will frankly never be convinced otherwise, but no sane human being can look at what LeBron's done over the last decade and think he's a legitimately unclutch player :lol Anyone who does is stuck in 2011

He didnt look for that shot withcresolve and urgency. That was a lucky shot. There was reluctance when he was asking for the ball. His shooting was off just a few possessions prior.
