View Full Version : How is it that Draymond Green still can't shoot?

One of the smartest player in the game...apparently hasn't figured out how to shoot after so many seasons. This is the same question I asked with Rondo.

Shooting isn't hard. I learnt shooting over one summer and I was knocking them down in games. Teenage girls attending shooting clinics were knocking down open shots after a few months. And here comes a genius level NBA player with the greatest shooters ever as teammates and the best shooting coach in the world...still can't knock down open shots after 8 seasons. How is this possible.

He’s just not very good at basketball. He used to be a good player because of his motor and hustle but he’s gotten old and doesn’t have that X factor anymore. His claim to fame is finding the wide open man when it’s 4 on 3....which is not difficult at all.

Froze out by shit system that's entirety revolves around setting screens for one player all while having to be the main playmaker and defensive anchor on top

The worst part is that he used to have a 3PT shot. Even shot better than Klay for an entire Playoff run in 2017.

Wrong question. The question is why can't he shoot anymore. He was a strong shooter in 2016.

Curry didn't play last year and Green still only averaged 8 ppg.
