It will be just like Lebron in that it will boil down to if Luka can consistently be on teams with a lot of talent for a decade or so. Luka at age TWENTY put up 31/10/9, 59.6 TS% on Kawhi/PG, two elite wing defenders in last years series and probably would have beaten the Clips if Kristaps doesn't get hurt.

To answer your question yes Luka is better. He’s certified top 10. Trae is not. Luka is being argued with your James harden, Durant, Curry, Leonard, Giannis of the world. Yeah Kareem was 32 in Magic rookie year. His decline was pretty noticable a couple years later.

Still a good player but playing an NBA schedule in your mid 30s is tough. Not enough recovery time. If they played just twice a week it wouldn't be a problem but 3-4 times a week is a struggle at that age.
