Great performances for a debut. I had no doubt in Devin Booker stepping it up in the playoffs, he always seems to step it up the most when the lights are the brightest. Bubble Booker was a beast and basically every game was a game 7 for the Suns in the bubble as they couldn't afford to lose a game(and didn't, yet still fell short). But he was great today. No doubt he proved a lot of doubters wrong today, he's been waiting for this opportunity for a long time.
But even I as a Suns fan had my doubts about if Ayton would struggle with the pressure in his first playoffs. He's been a beast defensively this season, but hit or miss this season offensively. He was an absolute force offensively today, the Lakers had 0 answers for him. Ayton can play with that level of offensive intensity every game, the Suns can make it far.

Liked Ayton's game but he needs better hands he seems to fumble a lot of passes.

Thanks for being a reasonable Lakers fan. No doubt this is gonna be a great series to watch. Even if the Suns don't win the series, just the fact that they're playing their hearts out and let it be known that they're gonna give it everything they got makes me happy as a fan.
After watching us miss the playoffs for a whole decade it's so nice to see Phoenix basketball back in a big way and fans having a team worth cheering loud and proud for again. A championship would be nice for once, but it's not only about the goal of winning championships to me. It's about the team being enjoyable to watch, with likable players, and playing with teamwork and a lot of heart, giving me entertaining games to watch and pass time. That's the #1 important thing to me as a sports fan.

His 2 biggest problems this season have been having butterfingers, and not being aggressive enough offensively in a lot of games(likely confidence issues). But he's young and if he can at least keep this type of aggression he had tonight then he'll be a damn good player. He already has the defensive prowess. He just needs to learn it's very hard to stop him if he plays aggressive on offense. He's still very young though so I have hope he'll continue to develop his offensive game. He's had a lot of flashes like today's game. The butterfingers thing can be worked on, and it might be nervousness-related as well. Hopefully it's something he can improve with time.

He was. I loved last year's Suns. But I love this years even more.

You've definitely got that entertainment factor with your current young core and veteran leadership in CP. At the beginning of the series I predicted Lakers in 6 but if Booker and Ayton keep playing that way, even without CP, this looks like it's going 7.
