Are the play-ins a regular season game? Exhibition? No they are post season. Like in baseball they have wild card games. Warriors got the 8th seed in the regular season. The Grizzlies played them in a tournament, post season. The Warriors made the playoffs. Stop saying they didn’t. Don’t subscribe to that. Play ins are now part of the playoffs, unfortunately.

Geez are you still going on about this?
Funny when i look at the Wizards schedule for this season the play in games don't show up under regular season or playoffs. It's like they never happened.
NBA.com has them in a separate category.

No they're not. Playoffs have 8 teams in them. The 8 teams in round one are playoff teams. The 9/10 who lose the play in are not playoff teams

Play-in games are to make the playoffs. Only 6 teams are in up to that point. 7-10 seeds fight for the final 2 spots in the playoffs.
Face it. Warriors can't win anything in the losers bracket. Get over it, op. :ohwell:

I know OP’s a troll, but that doesn’t make this endless stream of threads any less pathetic

Playoffs have 8 teams and the Warriors were in 8th place because they beat Memphis in the last regular season game.

If they never happened then there shouldn't be ''it'..

The Warriors beat the Memphis Grizzlies in the last regular season game to get the 8th seed. That's why it's 7 vs 8 and 9 vs 10. Because everyone has an original seed. The Warriors' original seed was 8th. No play in-game can determine what your original seed was in the regular season. The Warriors made the playoffs. In 2008 the Warriors went 48-34 and ended up missing the playoffs. They got the 9th seed. They should have been in the playoffs but they failed to secure the 8th spot. In 2021, the Warriors beat the Grizzlies in the last regular season game to get them in 8th place. So therefore they made the playoffs, for all intents and purposes. You CANNOT say that the play-in games don't exist, but at the same time let them determine the playoff seeding. Doesn't work that way.

The play-ins are to see who will become a part of the playoffs. The Warriors didn't make the cut :(
