There are no noteworthy first time inductees for next year. So this is the year your Tim Hardaway's, your Kevin Johnson's, your Chauncey Billups can get in.

those type of guys get in every year. It's the basketball HOF. Not too hard to get in

Not every year, which is why they're not in. But if any year is the year, than 2020 is it.

Yes he does. Multiple All-Star, 24-7-3 player in his prime while leading Phoenix to back to back western conference finals appearances in '89 & '90. This is the basketball hall of fame we are talking about, Mitch Richmond got in for christ sakes.

He was soft, I'm in no way a fan of his, but given his accolades he should be considered.

Was it Tom or Kevin Johnson tho?

KJ was better than Chambers but the latter was a really good player who probably got a disproportionate amount of attention for being a white guy who could throw it down with the best of them. KJ not making the HOF is kind of baffling... averaged 20/10 over 9 straight seasons who took a solid team to back to back conference finals. Even in 94 and 95 when Phoenix flamed out early he did his bit. It was Barkley who came up short.

I feel like I’ve seen you say similar things. Is Mitch not a HOF level player to you or are you punishing him because his 2-5 was Wayman Tisdale, Olden polynice, Tyus Edney, and Spud Webb(or very similar) for essentially his entire prime?

Walt Williams is probably the player he played with id draft first between the Warriors and wizards. I’d take young Brian grant too but I wouldn’t want him starting.

He had a gang of busts and almost good player from like...92-99.

His ability was mid to lower tier HOF I’d say. He just didn’t have a team. He had a team people would call all time bad if he had a bigger name. The squads Kobe had mid 2000s were no worse. Lamar Odom was flat out better at basketball than anyone Mitch had between run Tmc and Washington. Probably better than anyone between run Tmc and the Lakers. Odom or rookie Rip or young Juwan Howard?

Id go Odom I think.

Mitch was out on an iceberg by himself for nearly the whole decade.

Mitch was putting up identical numbers for GSW playing with Mullin and Timmy as he was playing with Olden Polynice and Spud Webb.

When he was ages 23-25, and it was just 3 years. He spent the next 7 years, ages 26-32 (most player's prime/peak years), on Sacramento. How does this conversation change if Mitch is playing alongside say, Hakeem?

Not even Hakeem. Hell give him Reggie Pacers or Nique Hawks teams instead of Bobby Hurley and Billy Owen's (a player hebwas traded for, smh.)

If Chamber and Johnson get in, that would give the 93 Suns 3 hofers

Tim Hardaway would have already been inducted if not for the gay controversy.

It's embarassing really that arguably best player of Run TMC is the only one not inducted.

Was he really tho? I've seen more list with Timmy and Mitch over Mullin than I've seen with Mullin over Tim.

EuroLeague isn't semi pro. It's fully professional. Average salary is $1.2 million in EuroLeague. Semi pro means you have to work another job besides your sport to make ends meet.

Amare retired after last season.

No contest as far as I'm concerned. Hardaway peaked his 2nd year in the league.

Mitch had the most consistent career IMO. Mind you he didn't enjoy great team success, but it's not like Mullin's fingers are littered with rings either.

True. Tho Mitch never got hit by the injury bug like thise two. Chris and Tim peaked higher when at their best.
