You would think that someone at CNN would realize by now that they have a problem, and the spewing fake news libtard drivel 24/7 probably isn't the best business practice.

You go from a reality tv president to probably the most boring one in the last 40 years, it's really not that surprising

Do you understand what 70% of its viewership is? 70 percent. Do you comprehend that??

It's bladefd. He never reads the content of articles and prematurely creams himself.
He wants to compare a 15% decrease for Fox News with 65% for MSNBC and 70% for CNN. :confusedshrug:

Use your brain for a moment. If you were watching foxnews regularly and were considering switching, what's your alternative? I don't know of any heavy conservative news channel outside of Foxnews. Your only option is to stop watching altogether.
If you were watching cnn regularly, you can shift to msnbc, cbs news, abc news, Al Jazeera, and bbc or quit watching tv news. I would also list pbs, but I don't think anyone watches that. There are multiple different options.
I often personally watch cnbc's show with Shepherd Smith, and he does a good job just giving the news and no other bs. Although tv news is coming down altogether - go look up the number of cordcutters and people shifting to netflix/hbo/showtime/etc. Usually older people, who tend to be conservative, are not tech-savvy and stick to what they have been watching for past 2 decades. Viewership also typically goes up in election years higher than the typical years. Election year just ended 6 months ago.
However, it doesn't mean what the OP thinks it does. Republicans just finished losing the Senate and the White House 6 months ago. Number of Liberals is not dropping. It's not time for Trumpeters to celebrate just yet :oldlol:

So, normal people have evolved and adapted and get their news from the device in their pocket.
Old fossil Trumpies still pay for and watch cable, and find using a phone “hard”

Yeah Trump was massive for ratings. Everyone knows this. Doesn’t make him any less awful.

FOX is losing its viewership to OAN and Newsmax because FOX had the audacity to announce that Biden won the election.

Trump was all they had. The haters ate up their bullshit, but now no one cares what they have to say. But yeah, I don’t know anyone who actually watches cable news. I’ll click on some snippet on YouTube, but I’m not actually going to have one of the stations on ever. I imagine most people are that way besides the old timers who aren’t really on the net.

the only thing that cable news does well is live coverage of any given event simply because they have the manpower and equipment for it. mass shootings, 9/11, biden falling up the stairs, etc. if you're looking for any honest, substantive discussion on the issues though, you need to look elsewhere to intellectual powerhouses such as insidehoops.

I admit, I got hooked on Cable News because of 9/11. I was 20 years old, in college, in my apartment and not working and I had stayed up all night till that morning and my eyes were glued to the TV for the next few weeks. Hardly got any sleep.
But that shit was 20 years ago. No reason to watch Cable News now unless it's to inflate your ego cause they're saying the shit you agree with over and over and over again.

Yeah, pretty much agree with you there. Since COVID I have become so much more deliberate in how I consume news and stay informed.
For breaking/up to the minute news I rely on my twitter feed which I have curated to have a balance of left/right viewpoints and international/domestic news.
I don't have time to read the newspaper daily but I get a couple of monthly magazines so I can read a little more in depth on issues that have been flagged in the news over the past few weeks. If there is something that really grabs my attention I will then seek out books for a deep dive.
Cable news is mostly crap, lacks objectivity, its biased, an echo chamber, is emotion based, lacks rigor and is built around scandals and what drives ratings. It has its place but if you are using it as your primary source of information you are selling yourself short imo.

Look for them to go even more insane to keep what remains.
