Does he really think of himself as some bball legend?? If Miami retires his number, it will be the worse number retired ever.

Hahahaha he needs to be an assistant coach if he likes doing stuff like that. But if pat Riley is still dumb enough to pay him a player salary, then why the hell not

Haslem is definitely a Miami Heat legend.

He was a low end defender/enforcer that was barely starter quality in his peak/prime. Obviously in for the leadership but not sure if he is good at that either.

His Jersey will be retired. Bet your life on it. He was born in Miami, played college in Florida, and has been on the Heat refusing to leave(including when he was actually decent and offered more elsewhere) for like 19 years. He’s gonna stay with the team after he retired. He’s an absolute lifer. He will be there 30-40 years.

Yep. If he’s not a coach he’ll be an announcer or something.

Probably thinks he's a player with three rings more than anyone else on the roster.

Yeah wow, ya stayed on a list for ages...you were never good though.

The players he's shouting at must be ready to knock him out...ain't no one taking him seriously

As I said in a post a couple of months ago, he must be a great locker room presence. Otherwise, it makes no sense for him being in the roster 5-6 years playing 10 games each season.

It is extremely hard to be one of the leaders for your team if you are not playing significant minutes. Nobody wants to talk to the guy at the end of the bench.

Some guys dont even respond to any type of leadership unless you are one of the best players on the team.

He’s been captain for 14 years running. Lebron wasn’t even the captain. Briefly Dragic was a co captain. But they all know who the top guy is:

"It's a different team," Dragic said than from when he began his two-season run as a captain. "We all know that OG is the real captain, so I don't have problems with that. He's here for everybody. He's got that authority that everybody listens to him.

It isn’t always who we assume.

Iggy was the Warriors captain along with Steph for a while.
