Personally, I would take Harden/Kyrie/Durant over West/Baylor/Wilt as Baylor was utterly washed up on both ends of the court and Wilt was basically frozen out of the offence by Vbk and Baylor in the 1969 season before he then got hurt in 1970 and was never quite the same player again.

As in 1970 Wilt was on pace to lead the league in scoring and rebounding along with field goal percentage at the start of the 1969-70 season after new coach Joe Mullaney made him the head of the Laker offence, averaging 32.2 points on .58.0 shooting along with 20.6 rebounds nine games into the season before his injury.

If we are talking about peak then of course the 60s trio would be better. Wilt would easily be the standout among this group, while West at his peak was just as good as KD and Harden, if not better. Prime early 60s Baylor is also lightyears ahead of Kyrie. If we're talking about the trios when they actually played together it is a different story.

When taking a look I think In an all-time sense Baylor is overrated because his 64-67 stretch is abysmal, his 64, 65 and 67 and 69 post-season had a whopping -0.2 WS between them and the one decent play-offs he had in that period in 66 was accompanied by his worst regular season by far collecting only 2.6 WS in nearly 2000 minutes. Because of this stretch emphasizing how Baylor's performance steeply declined from being a top 5 player to a net negative after his knee injury I tend to think he was not better than Kyrie currently is.

t's important to note though that the defensive edge for the Lakers big three is massive. Wilt alone is more valuable defensively than all three Nets players combined and they also had Jerry West, who was also better than any of the Nets trio when it comes to defence.

Baylor, West, and Wilt were no longer in their prime when together with the Lakers. Having said that, they still did win the Championship in the year that Baylor retired, so were able to do it with two of the three. Could the Brooklyn trio do it with only two of their three? Probably not.

The Lakers' Big 3 was way more talented for their era IMO. The Nets' Big 3 is more skilled overall but they're more beatable than the Lakers were tbh, but Wilt and Baylor got hurt a lot.

The Nets big three combined for 104/20/25/5/5 during this game I don't see how any team in the next two years is going to be able to stop them that Rockets Gm should be fired for letting the Nets build a mega overpowered super team.
