What is the record for a 2 game span (points scored) and 3 games consecutive?
I cannot find this anywhere.
Tatum is at 90 in two games.
Thinking it’s Jordan in 86 back to back?
Not sure on three games

I see Jordan had 143 in 1987 opening round first three against cavs. Anyone else I’m missing? Also looks like Jordan’s first two against celtics in 1986 is the two game record

Short burst of success? Sounds like an MJ award, after all he's known to fizzle out quickly so it makes sense he'd have a short sighted record like this

Most points over two games, NBA Playoffs
112 - Michael Jordan, Chicago vs. Boston, April 17, 20, 1986 (49, 63) (56.0)
105 - Michael Jordan, Chicago vs. Cleveland, April 28, May 1, 1988 (50, 55) (52.5)
101 - Jerry West, Los Angeles vs. Baltimore, April 3, 5, 1965 (49, 52) (50.5)
Most points over three games, NBA Playoffs
145 - Jerry West, Los Angeles vs. Baltimore, April 3, 5, 7, 1965 (49, 52, 44) (48.3)
144 - Jerry West, Los Angeles vs. Baltimore, April 5, 7, 9, 1965 (52, 44, 48) (48.0)
143 - Michael Jordan, Chicago vs. Cleveland, April 28, May 1, 3, 1988 (50, 55, 38) (47.7)
139 - Michael Jordan, Chicago vs. Philadelphia, May 9, 11, 13, 1990 (45, 49, 45) (46.3)
Two games is Michael Jordan (Games 1 and 2, Chicago vs. Boston, 1986 Eastern Conference First Round), and three games is Jerry West (Games 1, 2, and 3, Los Angeles vs. Baltimore, 1965 Western Division Finals). The league records for four, five and six consecutive playoff games also belong to Jerry West, attained in the same playoff series.
Jordan scored 49 and 63 in Games 1 and 2 of the 86 first round against the Celts for 112 points (56.0 points per game), as well as 50 and 55 in Games 1 and 2 of the 88 first round against the Cavs for 105 points (52.5 points per game). The latter is the only time a player has scored consecutive 50 point playoff games. Prior to Jordan playing in the league, the record was held by Jerry West, who put up 49 and 52 (101 points) in back-to-back games for the LAkers against the Baltimore Bullets in the 1965 Western Division Finals. West blazed away on mid- to deep-mid-range jump shots throughout the '65 series. As you can deduce from the previous statement, this is now 3rd all-time for two games. In the third game, Jerry West scored 44 points for a point total of 145 over three games (48.3 points per game). Close encounters with West's league record include Michael Jordan's 131 points in the '86 first round against the Celtics for an average of 43.7 points per game, and he later outdid this performance with 135 points against Miami in 1992 to the tune of 45.0 points per game. Jordan scored 139 points in three games over Games 2, 3 and 4 of the 1990 second round against the 76ers where he put up consecutive games of 45, 49 and 45 points (46.3 points per game). Michael Jordan scored 38 points in the third game of the '88 first round against the Cavs for 143 points over three games (47.7 points per game). This is the closest a player has gotten to West's three-game record.
Previous to Jordan playing the league, the records were most closely approached by the New York Knicks' Bernard King during the 1984 first round against the Detroit Pistons. King's points in the five-game series were: 36, 46, 46, 41, 44.
