Chris Paul is a warrior with his insane level of confidence and lifted the SUNS from the dead in less than a year, an organization that last saw the playoffs over 10 years ago. Impressive to say the least even if they lose the series imo.

So, I guess now it's Lebron vs Paul and the Lakers are still favourites to win the series with their BILLIONAIRE ROSTER.

I personally picked the Lakers to win the series (and still believe the Suns are a fake #2 seed) but will be a very HAPPY man if the SUNS wins 2 more games to advance to the next round.

We are also about to put this sentence below to many discussions here:

"Everything you can do, I can do it better." :confusedshrug::confusedshrug:

"Lebron james phrase towards Chris Paul in one of the games in this series.

Did he really say that?lmao

Wonder what triggered it, considering they were friends.

Honestly, no one in this league respects LeBron...he knows it, obviously

Not even close

Cp3 also manages more average assists...both this season and career.

So cp3 is a better playmaker

CP3 just is what he is, a great/ true P.G.

Lebron, lol, on the other hand, is a FAKE point guard wanna be with very low I.Q. of the game (overrated) and also one of the poorest leaders in NBA history. It doesn't matter if they beat the suns or not, they won't go all the way this year.

CP3 has been great, and I love having him... no doubt he makes the team better and we wouldn't be as good without him. BUT it's cringey when people give him all of the credit for turning the team around as if it's the same exact team as it was 5 years ago when they were a laughing stock.

The Suns were already trending in the right direction before CP3 got here. This is WHY CP3 requested to come here. People seem to forget that, aside from Devin Booker, this is a whole entire new Suns team built completely over the past few seasons. Ayton and Bridges are literally the longest tenured Suns(except Book obv), and they're in just their 3rd seasons in the league. Last season in particular after the entire front office was cleaned out and replaced, James Jones took over as GM and rebuilt almost the entire roster aside from those 3 players, with the goal of "raising the floor" aka getting rid of guys who we already know are at least servicable NBA talents, instead of constantly gambling on young unproven kids "with potential" AKA usually busts like the Suns of old.

With a whole new coaching staff led by Monty Williams(who was considered by many the most desirable head coach prospect available that offseason) as well as building him a whole new state of the art training facility(Jared Dudley said on Twitter the old facility was the worst in the league by far and held us back), and even new and improved fancy renovated arena... it basically feels as if Suns owner Sarver damn near hit the reset button on the whole franchise. There's nothing about this team that resembles the franchise from 5 years ago aside from Booker, but even he's different as he's actually a good defender now. But I digress. There's just so much new shit with this team.

Last year was a transition year having a new roster/coaching staff/gm, and they showed a lot of progress and flashes of a bright future, but missed the play-in by 1 game. It was an very injury riddled season though with guys constantly going out 5 games here and 10 games there messing up the rotations, and Ayton was also suspended 25 games. So they were better than their record, and it's pretty safe to say that if Ayton didn't get suspended and the team stayed a bit healthier, they would have already made the playoffs last season. Point is, it's not like CP3 joined a team of dogshit scrubs like the 2016-2017 Suns or something like that. Not to mention CP3 wasn't the only upgrade they made this past offseason. Cam Payne who they took a gamble on before the bubble paid off big time... his play has been HUGE. Definitely our 6th man, and arguably one of the best backup guards in the league, always seems to make plays when we need someone to step up the most, getting dropped from the league changed him to a new man. They also stacked the depth out with more proven vets Jae Crowder been huge, E'Twan Moore, Langston Galloway, etc, stole Torrey Craig at the trade deadline for free... this is a pretty damn deep team now.

CP3 deserves a lot of credit for helping this team evolve and play great together to almost get the best record in the league, but he's not the only one who deserves credit. This has been a franchise-wide effort to improve and stop being losers. As you can see so many changes were made aside from just signing CP3. To put all of the credit to CP3 is disrespectful to coach Monty, gm James Jones, the developing young core, the vets who've played their hearts out etc.

I agree with most of what you said but CP3 adds the mental toughness inside the court to that young core so they are able to make a solid playoff run with him and are already beating the lakers.

What about leading a team?

And staying on the bench with your team mates, instead of abandoning them.

Booker has never even played a playoff game and he's 1 win away from eliminating Lebron in the 1st round. Wow you are a pathetic excuse for a human being hahahha

This will be the 2nd time in the last 3 years when Kawhi makes it further in the playoffs then Lebron.

It should go down as one of the worst series of his career.

1st half Quitter.

CP3 on the other hand at only 6' tall, is playing injured and fighting, doing all he can do.
