Aside from 2015 we can pinpoint the exact moment when Lebron Checked out on his team. Two examples stick out. The JR smith debacle and James recently walking off the floor on his team.
Body Language don't lie. It is the most ancient form of communication. So Lebron can speak whatever words he wants to, but we are not blind and Rondo as well as others have called him out on it.

So why does he do it?
Lebron is a community player that feeds off of others. If the odds are stacked against him and Kyrie comes out like A dog and scores 40, Lebron will step up and do the same. However, if his team doesn't show A desire to win Lebron will happily step back and say "**** it you don't deserve this Ill start over next year with people who want it".

Lebron's IQ for the game gets in his own way. In the East he knew that regardless of circumstance he could stomp on the competition so we did not see A whole lot of his quitness. When he is able to assess the situation and realize that it is highly improbable that he can take it all for the year he loses his constitution to fight and lay it all on the line. He simply does not have that Dog in him.

Ever since Jordan retired NBA fans have looked for A Hero in the game and although Lebron has done some great things he never quite became that guy. His marketing team and his ability to conspire and build decent teams have at least put in him into the debate, but history will not remember Lebron in the conversation With the goat. He will be somewhere alongside Magic Johnson After A few years of retirement and there is nothing wrong with that.

How do you want your teammates to contribute when you hold the ball for 20 seconds on the shot clock?

Ask luka

Luka has that cute smile on him and lightens up the team. Bran walks off on his teammates and expects them to contribute.

Bronball worked when Bron was in Peak physical condition. Even then it had some serious flaws that were exposed at the very highest level. Bronball requires everything going through Lebron. He doesn't have that anymore. DWADE knew when to defer to Lebron and Lebron now needs to defer to A younger Athlete. .Who will that be though?

:applause:

True, Magic lost a lot and so did Lebron. There is nothing wrong with that they are still considered great players but never in GOAT discussion format. EVER.

The problem with Lebron James is that his game is not aging well at all. HE can't count with a mid range jump shot or 3 or even free throws to help him because he is not equipped with that arsenal to directly affect a game in this stage of his career.

He will be benched next season.

Generally speaking, this is an apt criticism.

When he knows he can't win he gives up.
