Quoting Nipsey Hustle, “How long should I stay dedicated? How long til opportunity meet preparation?”

This reminds me of what KG said in 2010 after the Celtics eliminated the Cavs. The reporter asked him what his advice to Lebron would be or what Lebron should do. KG responded with the infamous "Loyalty is something that hurts you at times, because you can't get youth back. I can honestly say that if I could go back and do my situation over, knowing what I know now with this organization, I'd have done it a little sooner."

It’s like.... shut up and go into cultural irrelevancy quietly Dame.

No one cares, really, in the grand scheme. Play or don’t. Leave portland toilet city or don’t.

Our lives will move on either way. You’re just a basketball player on Instagram

What are the chances that the Celtics can swindle a trade for Dame involving Kemba? Lol

Depends. Is the Rockets GM going to be hired for the Celtics before the trade happens?

I have no idea how Brad Stevens will handle business as GM.

I think at this point, absolutely nobody could fault him for joining up on a great team...

It wouldnt diminish his previous statements on the matter, that he isnt like that, that he's built different, etc. at all either.

But Dame since last year is simply an MVP level player, and when you reach that stage, you have a far bigger innate need of contending.

He's given this city / team his all for 9 years, he's too good to be losing in round 1's.

Of any player who exists in the league, Dame most deserves to play with another star and have a shot.

Imagine him going off like he did in game 5 in a finals game.

Dude is a month shy of 31 IIRC. Do it now while he's still at the peak of his powers, because clearly Portland isn't going to build a true contender around him.

I get that Dame wants to stay loyal to the Blazers, but a competitor like him can only take so many early playoff exits and failures before something gives

With how long athletes play for nowadays and looking at current Dame, easily another 3-4 yrs or so as All NBA level I think.

I would take him on the clippers but due to lack of assets it would probably have to be a 3 team trade.
