No. But did we have that with Embiid? Think about that. Sixers have a collection of guys who will get opportunities to do what you posed as a question. Hence why Ben Simmons as a facilitator getting guys those looks is key. We don’t have a certified go to guy. If anything one of the sixers needs is a guard who can create and get his own buckets. Those not easy to acquire. Much like a RB by committee in the NFL. That’s sorta what Sixers are working with.

Hawks are better than i thought, smoked the Knicks defense but i think what helped them was that the Knicks offense sucks and was easy to defend. They spent little energy on that end. Hawks will hide Trae on Green 100% but Philly will run him through picks over and over.

They had the 4th most injuries of any team this year and the only one to make the playoffs with their main players missing so much time. Oh that Trae Young is good at basketball? What a weirdo I am. I’ll never again say Trae is good or that the matchups being thrown at him aren’t working. If Trae Young averages 30, 10, and hits 45% of his shots, and the Hawks bigs contain Embiid to under 25 without requiring double-teams that opens up the Sixers offense (driving lanes, or open shots), or Embiid's knee injury flares up, the Hawks can win.

But the Sixers will win because they're the bigger, deeper and more talented bunch. Embiid with a healthy knee is unguardable. In 4 games versus the Wizards, Embiid averaged 24 mpg on 63.5% shooting. When he's on the floor, the Sixers look like title contenders, but when he's off the floor, they look like a decent playoff caliber team at best. Simmons averaged a near-triple double in the first round (14.8 ppg, 10.2 rpg, and 9.2 assists) and must continue the same production. And Tobias Harris led the team in scoring (25ppg) in the first round, and his size, mobility and shooting touch is a matchup problem.

I like Thybulle excellent defender, Hunter is better because he can guard more 1-4 and he is a better offensive player. What makes Ben so unique and his ability to guard 1-5.
Agree to disagree on Hunter being the best player early in the season, I,m not saying he is a super star like Trae Young but his impact was huge for us.
Giving you a hard time about Shake, I like Maxey and Korkmaz. I think you guys have a nice mix of veterans with championship experience and players in their prime like Embid, Tobias and Simmons. I still consider the sixers the favorites, but I would not be surprised if Atlanta won the series. Cam needs to grow mentally so the game slows down for him, he has all the talent in the world but does not know how to play within a system yet, he doesn't know when to pass, shoot or drive so he makes one amazing play followed by 2-3 mistakes.
