CAREER PLAYOFFS - Per 100 Possessions

Jordan.... 43.3 pts.. 7.4 ast.. 4.0 tov.. 118 ortg.. 11.1 BPM
Lebron.... 37.1 pts.. 9.3 ast.. 4.7 tov.. 116 ortg.. 10.2 BPM

So what is Marcellus talking about here at 1:04-1:09 (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3A8UImmgrGU&t=01m03s)?

Lebron also had equal-scoring partners (1b's) that attracted equal defensive attention - he never carried the scoring load for a playoffs AND Finals of a championship run.

Finally, Jordan creates more assists overall - he distributed and created assists for teammates with a high assisted rate (assist target off-ball, aka jumpshooter), thus yielding higher TEAM assists, ball movement, team ORtg and team ceiling/Finals record.

He also quits on his team when things aren't going well and is known for pulling a disappearing act in the 4th when his team needs him most

He refreshes his cast with the best young talent every 4 years so he doesn't have to deal with old teammates that average 17 on 41% for entire 3-peats, or 36-year PF's that average 4/8 in the playoffs.

And his chokes are legendary.. We all remember him quitting and averaging 21 on 34% in the last 3 games of the 2010 ECSF..

Or scoring zero points in the 4th quarter of Game 4 in the 15' Finals... Or losing 3 fourth quarter leads and getting dominated in the critical Game 4 OT that swung the 09' ECF

Or the 07', 13', or 14' Finals... Or 11'

This is one of LeThargic's greater black marks on his resume. Dude essentially took shortcuts. You could make an argument that hes actually been carried by others his entire career.

Dude is a fraud.

Exactly... Teaming up with stars isn't "making guys better"

Lebron never elevated teammates because no one saw their stats grow during their tenure with Lebron and no one became good alongside him - everyone was already good before joining him..

And only elite shooters played near their career high (capacity) alongside Lebron, while everyone else played below capacity and didn't improve alongside his frontcourt ball-dominance and lack of elite jumpshooting skill..

Otoh, guys like Pippen, Grant and BJ grew from single-digit rookies into champions.. So teammates got better alongside a jumpshooter and off-guard like Jordan, while Lebron just teams up.

Bro... he lost already. Get over it. Focus on Luka not surpassing your boy. Even MJ didn't have this level of confidence at a young age.

My next thread takes care of Luka

This one is just the proverbial nail in the coffin - pace-adjusted stats and efficiency for similar-role players, where the era differences favor Jordan

It's a matter of fact that Lebron shouldn't even be compared with Magic or Bird, never mind Jordan.

Magic and Bird proved themselves REPEATING Championships,

Well, Michael, lol , the GOAT 3peated TWICE ladies and Gentlemen.

Le one well , lmao. :banghead: Good player but ONE DIMENSIONAL and very, very limited , no he is not aging gracefully because he doesnt have an effective jump shoot.

These posters can’t handle the big SISH. Maybe Jeff should make a safe space forum for the bron stans. :(
