For myself personally, it is great to see the big man once again taking over the game.

Denver isn't getting there without it's starting front court. Compazo/Rivers isn't going to cut it against the Suns.

Then again i thought they would lose to the Blazers. :oldlol:

This will be the ultimate test for the Nets. Can they survive the Manny curse?

The blazers almost took them to seven games. Too bad portland had to blow their good lead in the second half.

Well...

I'm a fan of both. And I think they should not really be compared. As a center Embiid is better. As a defeder... Embiid is a lot better. So as an individual player... closer than defense or center position... but I think Embiid is better. However, it's still a team game. And on offense Jokic is not only his own offense but much of the whole team offense as well.

So by the numbers IF they meet (and if not this year they will in the future) I think by the numbers Embiid has a good chance of winning on the stat sheet. As for being more valuable o their respective teams... right now it's Jokic. I believe in Embiid having another level in him though, so I fully expect him to elevate his game further and become MVP and an even better player thanhe is today.

There are two teams I'm following for the last 2 years: the 76ers and the Nuggets. For a reason. Embiid and Jokic are my two favorite players and I said this same thing 3 years ago.

Comparing them just because they are tall and (on paper) both play as centers... not the right approach imho.

I hop we will see this matchup for many years to come and I hope these players will make it interesting.
