Jordan had "bums" in 1990 when he had the #19 defense and a far less productive all-star teammate.

90' Jordan was considered to be carrying bums, just like 09' Lebron - so when they started winning, the format of Jordan carrying the team and facing superior casts didn't change.

For example, the 91' Lakers or 92' Blazers had better-ranked defenses and more scorers, while the 93' Suns and 96' Sonics also had more scorers and nearly the same-ranked defense.. Only the Jazz didn't have more talent than the Bulls.

Not sure exactly what you are asking........ You comparing Mo Williams and post Detroit Ben Wallace to Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant? They always had a good defense when Mike Brown coached because in respect, that was the only thing Mike Brown knew how to coach well, defense.
