Yea the survival rate is 99.8% so it was basically like a bad flu year but of the 0.2% who did die there would have been many who could have been saved if they were given this treatment. Of course, covid was politicized to the point that it was on the news 24/7. In fact, it was on the news so much that I essentially stopped watching tv news altogether from April to October except for debates and primary coverage stuff.

Anyways, there were no studies at that timeframe on how effective hydroxychloroquine was. There were a few studies going in the initial stages that showed potential. Others like remdesivr and the cocktail Trump took when he had covid showed more promise. Anyways, we still don't know how well hydroxychloroquine works for non-ventilator users who are not towards the end of the line. This study was just finished very recently, and it was done on only those with covid on ventilators. We also don't know if hydroxychloroquine is MORE or LESS effective compared to remdesivr or the other drug cocktail, which were both showing more promise early on.

According to a document obtained by Fox News, facilities were required to report the number of residents who died from COVID-19 daily.

Officials were aware of the true death toll since last spring, the New York Times said. An unpublished report said nursing home deaths accounted for 35% of all deaths at that time, though the version that was eventually released in July pared that figure down to 21%.

The Times reported that Cuomo’s top aides watched closely over the report, which began to be compiled in April 2020. An email obtained by the publication noted that Melissa DeRosa, Cuomo’s secretary, said they were getting "anxious" about the report and sought to downplay the idea that Cuomo’s nursing home directive was potentially a problem.

Not only was a scientific paper including the data was not published, the Times reported, but also two letters to state legislators from health officials were never sent.

Cuomo is said to have acknowledged in October that the data would eventually have to be released but reportedly called for additional analysis at that time. That data – including a higher death toll – were confirmed by the State Health Department in a letter that was never sent, the Times said.

The only way a drug can qualify for emergency use authorization is if there is no other viable treatments available ... if ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine had been recognized as the effective treatments that they are, the "vaccines" (which technically arent vaccines at all) would have been forced to go through all the regular safety trials.
