Duncan was certainly a great player, but that's the reason why he is ranked between top 8th to 10th. He never had a dominant offensive game. And he greatly benefitted playing with a great coach like Greg Popovich and two of the best international players of all time. When Duncan was not being coach by Popovich his game was exposed in the 2004 Olympics

Most defensive anchors cant do both at a high level
That is what makes LeKing so great.

LeBron is the only one who could ever drop 40 and anchor a defense regularly.

I agree. And the Spurs tanked after David Robinson got hurt in 1996. That Spurs team were still a solid team without Timmy.

Luckily he was too busy getting double digit blocks and basically quadruple doubles or hitting timely 3s in closeout games. Btw, games he had 20+ rebounds in the playoffs....13.

The Spurs played at snail pace in Duncan's time, half the time they barely reached 90 points.
