What do you expect when you got democrats giving out a monthly stipend to stay unemployed.

on the other hand Jobs are through the roof globally for staff, giving out wild incentives with qol benefits. i read somewhere that mcdonalds is giving away free Iphones to new hires

“Now hiring, free iPhone,” the sign says. “After 6 months employment (https://www.entrepreneur.com/topic/employment) and meet employment criteria.”

Business Insider (https://www.entrepreneur.com/topic/business-insider) confirmed (https://www.businessinsider.com/mcdonalds-free-iphone-illinois-staff-fast-food-labor-shortage-jobs-2021-5) that the sign belonged to a restaurant (https://www.entrepreneur.com/topic/restaurant) located in in Altamont, Illinois.
People on the internet, however, were less than thrilled about the offer.
“I was a manager at McDonald’s,” one user wrote (https://twitter.com/geniusane/status/1396498429514338304). “They had a thing where if you passed the secret shopper, the manager on the floor would get $100. I passed but since I had put in my two weeks, they said I didn't qualify for some dumb reason. They will absolutely switch up the qualifications on you”
“They could just offer livable wage instead of this theatrics,” another said (https://twitter.com/claxstann/status/1396458517641535490).

if it was only a MrChicken or some chain that doesn't practice pandemic safety. maga might reconsider

Economy is opening up faster than supply can keep up. I know the feds keep saying they won't raise the interest rates, but I don't believe them. Just watch and see interest rates go up to bring down inflation.

Inflation is not the end of the world. I hope people don't panic. It will take time to get it under control, but it's not time to start dumping good long-term stocks like Apple, Microsoft, the usual suspects. I have noticed bank stocks get hit pretty bad when inflation talks hit.

Appreciate the advice, blade.

You're the guy we turn to for insight on the issues that matter most. The rest of us would simply be lost without you.

Cheers.

Mortgage rates have been very low for like last 9-10 months. I don't see them going down further. Inflation began popping up early this year. At some point, interest rates have to go up to bring down inflation. I just don't know when

Problem is there's a huge risk of raising interest rates in mortgages. That's actually going to hurt the economy more than inflation.

Raising interest rates = higher mortgage payments = less consumer spending.

There isn't any quick fixes to our problems.

That's why people should refinance right now if their mortgage rates are high now. Lock in new rates before rates begin climbing sooner or later

Now is the time to use low interest debt and buy property like it's a damn monopoly game.

Take advantage of low rates bro.
