This info is entirely different than what the government's own data showed back in November 2020. I remember a thread discussing the mortality rate with facl39, and we specifically looked up the 2020 YTD mortality rate compared to 2019, 2018, 2017 and it was virtually even. No surprise it's since been "revised for accuracy" :ohwell:


Also it's kinda funny too, I remember this very day in July here in Texas when the news was going wild with Covid death reports, because "it was a thousand people in a day!" That was a scary time. For one single day, Covid deaths jumped up 400% from where they were every other single day of the year. I wonder what is the actual medical, scientific plausibility of that, versus the likelyhood of an "error" in the record keeping. The people you're describing do exist out there, no question about it. But I'm not one of them. I'm quite confident in my credibility in that regard. I know even you don't really believe what you're saying.

But to the point you're essentially projecting on to me, it is quite illustrative of the big picture. Most people really don't have a clue what they're saying. They choose political allegiances based on social preferences. "I wear the same clothes as these people, I like the same music as those people, and I really dont have any meaningful thoughts so I'll just adopt what they're saying."

This is why control of the media is essentially control of the public.

1) I want to point out, again, that the 33m cases is the number of detected cases. The true number of cumulative infections so far in the US since Feb 2020 is roughly ~140 million per latest CDC estimate, which is fairly accurate imo. (1 in 4.3 infections detected)

2) While there were 600k deaths with Covid-19, there were over 3 million deaths with water, which is why we need some context to that number. And the most important statistic is the fact that people who died with Covid-19 lived longer than people who died without Covid-19. I believe this is the first "pandemic" virus to meet this description.

3) What really matters is the response to the virus. In 2020 and 2021, we used:

travel bans
social distancing / business restrictions
school closures
mask mandates
mass testing

How many infections have each of those NPIs prevented so far in 2020 and 2021?

Please keep in mind that between states there is no correlation between Covid-19 stringency and Covid-19 outcomes and no correlation between mask compliance and Covid-19 outcomes. There is strong correlation between Covid stringency level and economic recovery.
