anyone that doesn't flop to the rim and bitch on every call to get a pair of free throws. anyone that doesn't bring in WWE stars pre-game and then lose that game.

The best center is Embiid. The best player listed as center is Jokic. As a pure center, Embiid is better. As an individual player it is much closer and due to defense I'd say Embiid is slightly better as an individual player. But basketball is a team game and all things considered I'd side with Jokic for now. But the difference is not big and both players elevated their games this year. I'm looking forward to seeing his mini-rivalry for many years to come. Embiid will probably win an MVP or two himself.
Next year they may meet in the Finals. With a hopefully healthy Nuggets team and the 76ers improving it may happen. I hope it will.
My two favorite players for different reasons. :applause:
(I voted for Embiid in the poll as it was worded as 'best center'. That's Joel. Best player listed as C is I think Jokic.)

Jokic>>
Until you can count on embiid to stay healthy consistently its not a debate.

I think i will take the guy averaging more points, rebounds and assists in the playoffs who also won the MVP. He beat Portland with a starting backcourt of Compazo (30 year old rookie) and Rivers (picked up on 10 day midseason).
Philly won a playoff game by 17 without Embiid.
Having said all that Embiid has been really good . As well as he is playing his body language is odd though, very subdued. His knee is probably bothering him more than he is letting on.
I was thinking that he should probably make a change in his game going forward. This will sound weird but when he drives to the basket i think he should slow down before going up to score. When he drives hard and goes straight up he is at risk of an awkward landing or fall. He is a big guy so when he falls it is worse than a pg falling. Both of his injuries this year were from drives to the basket.
