Jokic doesn't have too much in common with the rest of your list. He plays basketball and was selected MVP. This is where the comparison ends.

When Murray got injured no one expected the Nuggets to finish the season as strong as they have and Jokic was really really good in te 1st round. He is less of himself in vs. the Suns but they have a capable defender in Ayton and play good defense overall. Something Portland doesn't.

If the Nuggets are healthy next year I think they will make the Finals. Porter will improve. We shall see what Murray will have become. Jokic won't get any worse any time soon as he doesn't rely on (his non-existent) athleticism at all.
