Lmao has soon has the refs start letting these guys pysh a little and muk up the game suddenly Durant isn't going to averge 40 ppg on 80%. Now if they were calling it like they di trae young, like if you breed on him its a foul. Durant would be amazing. Don't think i am saying Durant would've be a suoerstar in the 90s, he a superstar in any era, but if you think physical play doesn't affect people you a clown.

The offensive boom of small players happened because of rules changes/Ref emphasis. These small players like Lillard getting handchecked by somebody bigger then them like Pippen did to Magic or what happened to Kenny smith.

breaking news: scoring is harder in the playoffs

no sh1t :oldlol:

thats why playoff scoring is true measure to success

kd would thrive into any era especially weak 90s with starks and hornacek guarding him on the wing

Why would Stark guard him. He a SF/PF. Gerald Wilkins would of guarded him. Pippen would if guarded him.

90s scoring was also harder in the playoffs. But the rules allowed defenders more room to operate.

Durant would be great in any era. He'd be less effective back then though.

Modern players haven't learned to move quick.

When you played in the 90s, you needed to move quickly when you got the ball.

That's the main difference offensively, go watch a game.

Everyone make their move right away.

Durant tends to shy away from contact more these days, while hoping to get the foul call, such as on fallaways. He doesn't create much space from his defender(s), but they're doing a better job of not fouling and getting a hand in his face these days. When Michael did this, he tended to get fouled more often, and Michael didn't draw unwarranted foul calls on fallaways until quite late in his career.

Rodman, Dominique, Dr. J, Bird - too physical for Durant tbh

Elite jumpshooting and power is needed to dominate at the highest level
