he already carried the lottery lakers to a championship in his first year. only the heat challenged him slightly with the 2 games they won, no doubt due to jimmy butlers 29 & 10 in 5 games.

jimmy butler averaged only 19 in the ecf so that was a rather big leap. i havent been following the lakers since the 2020 finals, so hopefully they traded whoever his matchup was*



*i heard they lost quite shamefully this year though, so maybe they didnt do that? did any perimeter players have any big games against the lakers these playoffs?

Had AD been healthy the Lakers make another finals. That's how much impact he's got. Still, I don't see them winning another title as currently constructed.
