The Lakers were 2-2 against the suns that have just swept denver when AD played. As soon as AD was out, it was back-to-back blowout losses. We are talking about 30-40 pt differences.

The value of a healthy AD in the 2020 mickey mouse league is chilling. As Lebron puts it, it gives chills thinking about Florida.

Heat didn't retain Crowder (who's a successful player on the Suns) and traded a solid rotation player in Olynyk for Oladpio who got injured. But yes I do agree the Heat should have played way better in general.
