I am going to ask you guys what is your personal take on this question as do you agree with the Nba not recognising the Aba when it comes to all-time stats or do you disagree with the stance that they have taken.

Well...It's not the NBA, so...?
Are we including their college stats with NBA too? Highschool? AAU?

Well the NBA merged with the ABA in 1976 so the all-time stats should count for players that played in the ABA.

Depends if it interferes with LeBron's all time records

Well if you count NBA stats pre-merger it's only fair you count the ABA stats too.

If this manufactured era counts then why not:confusedshrug:
I've been thinking about this for some time now and am leaning towards, yes. The NFL counted all AFL stats and records when they merged in 1970, and the MLB has recently agreed to accept Negro League stats. While they may not be apples- to- apples examples, the precedent has been set.
If the NBA does eventually agree to recognize ABA stats, Dr. J easily becomes the greatest beneficiary. He probably moves into or very close to many peoples' top 10 all time rankings.
